Join us for the premiere of the documentary conceived, created and filmed by Yonkers native and resident Lee Justo. A Roosevelt High School graduate, he is Deputy Grand Historian of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York. He also is Co-Chair of the American 250 programs for the Grand Lodge, playing a key role in statewide efforts to commemorate the upcoming 250th anniversary of American independence.
Based on the Stockbridge Massacre, also known as the Battle of Kingsbridge, the battle spilled over into what now is present day Yonkers; a good portion of Stockbridge was filmed in Yonkers.
