Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano and the Yonkers Parks Department Commissioner today announce the return of Yonkers’ Summer Film and Concert Series, which will open on July 3 with two concerts honoring the 250th Commemoration Anniversary of American Independence. The series, featuring LIVE Music and Outdoor Movies, is now in its 11th year and will continue every Thursday and Friday evening from July 9th through August 28th at various parks throughout the City of Yonkers.

“I am excited to announce the return of our beloved Summer Film and Concert Series. This year is especially meaningful as we open on July 3 with two concerts honoring the 250th birthday of our nation,” said Mayor Mike Spano. “For more than a decade, this series has been a wonderful way for Yonkers families to enjoy music and outdoor movies, embrace the warm weather, and experience the beauty and vibrancy of our community parks. We look forward to another great season together.”

“Yonkers Parks department has once again assembled a dynamic lineup this season, showcasing many of our amazing parks. Headliners include TKA, Musique, BonJourneyNY, and Ashley Wineland, along with seven family-friendly movies throughout the season.
