Initiative Introduced to Inspire Optimism and Positivity Across Yonkers

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano today announced the launch of “Mayor Mike’s Monday Boost,” a new weekly initiative designed to share uplifting messages and encourage a forward-moving spirit throughout the community. The motivational messages will be featured every Monday across the City’s social media platforms and prominently displayed on the YonkersTRON digital billboard, located above the Government Center Garage on New Main Street and Nepperhan Avenue.
“Over the past few months, many constituents have shared with me how much they want to hear more good news,” said Mayor Spano. “This is our way of lifting up Yonkers with messages that inspire, encourage, and keep us moving forward in a positive direction. A little motivation can go a long way, and I’m proud to bring that energy to our residents every week.”
By amplifying these messages both online and on the YonkersTRON, the City aims to reach residents where they are and offer a moment of encouragement to start each week.
The first Mayor Mike’s Monday Boost debuted today, with new installments released weekly.
