Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano and Yonkers Parks Department Commissioner today announce the return of Yonkers’ Summer Film and Concert Series. The series will take place every Thursday and Friday evening starting June 28th through August 30th at various parks throughout the City of Yonkers.
“We are thrilled to bring back this beloved event for another year,” said Mayor Mike Spano. “The Summer Film and Concert Series offers a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy the warm weather, create shared memories in our wonderful city and explore our community parks.”
“Come and check out some of our newly renovated parks, meet your neighbors, enjoy a movie or get ready to dance to top-notch music. Yonkers Parks are full of vibrancy and excitement this summer,” noted Parks Commissioner Steve Sansone.
The Summer Film and Concert Series is FREE. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating.
In the event of rain, all concerts will take place at the E.J. Murray’s Skating Rink Center at 348 Tuckahoe Road. Music and movies promoted are subject to change. For more information about the Summer Film and Concert Series or schedule changes call (914) 377-6450.
