Yonkers Foundation Welcomes William Mooney III and Kayli Tarcy to its Board

The Foundation in Support of Educational Excellence (FSEE) has appointed William Mooney III and Kayli Tarcy to its Board.

Mooney and Tarcy bring extensive expertise in economic development, public policy, commercial banking, and strategic marketing, and they are poised to significantly contribute to the Foundation’s mission of advancing educational opportunities.

“We are thrilled to welcome Bill Mooney and Kayli Tarcy to our Board,” said Elizabeth Bracken-Thompson, co-chair of the FSEE. “Bill’s deep understanding of public-private partnerships and economic development, coupled with Kayli’s innovative marketing and community engagement skills, will be invaluable assets as we strive to expand our impact and reach.”

Mooney is Senior Vice President and Group Director at Customers Bancorp. He possesses a wealth of experience in commercial banking and public policy. His previous roles as Director of the Westchester County Office of Economic Development and Corporation Counsel for the City of Yonkers underscore his commitment to regional growth. A dedicated community leader, Mooney serves on the boards of several prominent organizations, including the United Way of Westchester and Putnam.

“I look forward to leveraging my experience to support educational excellence in our community,” said Mooney.

Kayli Tarcy, Marketing Manager at Cross County Center, brings over a decade of marketing expertise. Her strategic approach to brand awareness and community connections, honed through roles at Cross County Center and Chelsea Piers, will be crucial in expanding the Foundation’s visibility. Tarcy’s experience in event planning, media relations, and community outreach aligns perfectly with the Foundation’s goals.

“I am excited to bring my passion for community engagement and strategic marketing to help advance the Foundation’s mission and impact,” said Tarcy.
