Yonkers Downtown/Waterfront BID Launches New and Improved Website

New and Enhanced Yonkersdowntown.com Will Better Serve Local Businesses and the Community

The Yonkers Downtown/Waterfront Business Improvement District (YDWBID) is proud to announce the launch of its newly redesigned and enhanced website, www.yonkersdowntown.com. The website was redesigned to serve as a more user-friendly, reliable, and community-focused resource for businesses, residents, and visitors.

This new digital hub reflects the continued growth and momentum across the district and provides an accessible platform for staying informed about YDWBID initiatives, services, events, and neighborhood updates. Designed with both businesses and the public in mind, the site features improved navigation, modern design, and expanded content highlighting everything Downtown Yonkers has to offer. Key features include a dedicated Business Resources section with helpful tools and information for merchants, as well as an enhanced community events calendar where businesses can submit upcoming events and promotions, allowing residents and visitors to easily explore what’s happening downtown and plan visits around local happenings.

“The Downtown Yonkers community is growing and evolving, and it was important that our website evolve with it,” said Sara Brody, Executive Director of the Yonkers Downtown/Waterfront BID. “This new platform is designed to better support our local businesses while also serving as a go-to source for residents and visitors looking to discover everything happening in our downtown. It’s a resource for everyone and a tool that will help strengthen connections across our community.”

The website redesign is part of YDWBID’s ongoing commitment to improving communication, increasing visibility for local businesses, and making it easier for the public to engage with Downtown Yonkers. Visitors are encouraged to explore the new website and check back regularly for updates, event listings, and new resources.
