Yonkers Downtown Takeout Week! $40 Dinner Packages

11 Yonkers Downtown Restaurants Offer $40 Takeout Packages Jan 25-Feb 6

The Yonkers Downtown/Waterfront Business Improvement District is bringing a new, COVID friendly restaurant week option to the community this year. From January 25th to February 6th, eleven unique restaurants will be partaking in Yonkers Downtown Takeout Week offering customized takeout packages and special menu items from an array of cultural cuisines. Local foodies can explore dishes ranging from classic Italian cuisine and casual pizza, to bold Mediterranean dishes for the more adventurous eater. Each purchase will support and foster the sustainability of small businesses in Downtown Yonkers, which is needed now more than ever in the nation’s current climate.

“With COVID cases still on the rise and with the goal of supporting our local restaurants and keeping patrons safe in mind, we have created a brand-new kind of restaurant week – Yonkers Downtown Takeout Week. This is one of the first restaurant week programs of its kind to provide an alternative takeout only option to enjoy the delicious deals,” said Sara Brody, Executive Director of the YBID. “Purchasing takeout from these restaurants is a perfect way to do your part for the community and you get a tasty night in out of the deal too!”

Most restaurants are open for in-person dining.  Each restaurant continues to follow CDC guidelines and precautions including social distancing and mandated mask use. However, this new restaurant week program will be a great alternative for those that may not be comfortable sitting indoors just yet. The specials being offered include either $40.00 or $20.00 takeout options that include packages catering to as large as a family of four. These deals are available to order by phone only and will not be available to order on any apps. Make sure to mention you would like the Yonkers Downtown Takeout Week offering when placing your order.
