The Yonkers Democratic Committee has officially endorsed Ken Jenkins in his campaign for Westchester County Executive. Currently serving as Deputy County Executive, Jenkins has been a steadfast advocate for economic development, affordable housing, and holding the line on taxes across Westchester County.

Jenkins said: “I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Yonkers Democratic Committee. Yonkers holds a special place in my heart, and I am committed to building on our progress to ensure Westchester thrives for all families and businesses.”

Yonkers Democratic Committee Chair Tom Meier said: “Ken Jenkins is a proven leader who has consistently delivered for Yonkers and all of Westchester County. His deep roots in our community and commitment to Democratic values make him the ideal candidate to continue our progress over the past several years. We proudly endorse him and look forward to his leadership as County Executive.”

His leadership has been instrumental in advancing key initiatives that support middle-class families, protect the environment, and expand access to affordable housing.

As the former Yonkers NAACP president, Chairman of the Westchester County Board of Legislators, and current Deputy County Executive, Jenkins brings decades of experience and a track record of collaboration and results. His candidacy emphasizes continuity and growth, ensuring that Westchester remains a model for effective, inclusive governance.
