Yonkers Arts is thrilled to announce the launch of the city’s inaugural Competitive Breakdancing League, spearheaded by the renowned London Reyes, also known as B-Boy London. This groundbreaking program will focus on the education, practice, and competitive sport of the art of ‘Breaking’, marking a significant milestone in the cultural and artistic landscape of Yonkers.
The league will span four months of intensive instruction and exhilarating competition. The program is poised to become one of the cornerstones of the community’s youth engagement initiatives.
Kicking off July 22nd, Mondays & Tuesdays from 12PM – 2PM at Yonkers Arts Project Space (216 Lake Ave, Yonkers, NY, 10701).The program runs from July 22 to August 21.
Breakdancing is an Olympic sport! We will be finding out more about it and report back to you.
