The Untermyer Performing Arts Council is pleased to announce a book signing by well-known Yonkers author Jason Medina will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Sunday, July 10th in the Cola Community Center Community Room at Untermyer Park, 945 North Broadway, Yonkers.

Mr. Medina will speak on his just released murder mystery MEG. The Q&A and Book Signing will begin at 1 pm.

Medina is an active board member of the Yonkers Historical Society and Founder  of Yonkers Ghost Investigators.  Since retiring from NYPD after 23 years of service, he has focused his time on writing, photography and local history research.

A prolific and lifelong author, Jason has written several books for the mature reader, including the very popular Ghosts and Legends of YonkersA Ghost in New Orleans, and The Manhattanville Incident.  He also has written the Kings Park series about the Kings Park Psychiatric Center, the abandoned state hospital once housing thousands of tortured souls.

The Untermyer Performing Arts Council is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to continuing the tradition of Minnie and Samuel Untermyer, bringing free programs to our treasure of a park and the people of Yonkers and beyond throughout the year.

Our events are admission free and open to the public, and all are welcome. This event will be held rain or shine.

This program, done in cooperation with Mayor Mike Spano and the Yonkers Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation, is made possible by Arts Westchester with support from Westchester County Government and the City of Yonkers. Additional funding has been provided by Senator Andrea Stewart Cousins, Senator Shelley Mayer, Assemblymember Nader Sayegh, Empire City Casino and our other generous supporters.

For further information, please call the Untermyer Performing Arts Council’s Artsline at 914-375-3435. Information also will be available on our website www.untermyerperformingartscouncil.org.
