
Get ready to assemble, Yonkers—Comic Con is back and bigger than ever! Yonkers Public Library is thrilled to announce that Yonkers Arts will serve as the official presenter of Yonkers Comic Con 2025, returning to the Riverfront Library on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
Now in its third year, Yonkers Comic Con has grown from a grassroots celebration into one of the city’s most anticipated cultural events. With Yonkers Arts at the helm, this year’s convention promises a dynamic fusion of creativity, community, and inclusivity, featuring new programming, expanded space, and immersive fan experiences for all ages.
“The origin story of Yonkers Comic Con began with Yonkers Arts in 2022-23. Having the support of Yonkers Arts again will prove to be a great addition to the trajectory of our hero’s journey,” said Evan Bishop, educator, artist, and founder of the event.
“This partnership with Yonkers Arts takes Comic Con to a whole new level,” said Jesse Montero, Director at Yonkers Public Library. “Both our organizations, and comics fandom as a whole, are dedicated to creativity, expression and storytelling. It makes the collaboration a great fit and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

HEROES & VILLAINS Fashion Show featuring superhero/villain-inspired designs by local creators
Children’s Cosplay Parade and Power Pose: Cosplay Showcase with fan voting and photo ops
Superhero Storytelling Station with mask making, face painting, and interactive tales
“I AM A HERO” Talk Show spotlighting creators, artists, and industry pros
Expanded Artist Alley & Talent Showcase highlighting rising stars in comics and illustration
Fan-favorite return: Hall of Heroes Art Exhibition
