Hundreds of grade school to high school aged students competed in The Salvation Army’s Star Search regional music & creative arts talent contest last weekend. Students from 12 states and Puerto Rico gathered in Hershey, PA to take top spot in dance solo, guitar solo, brass solo, drum solo, piano solo, vocal solo, drama monologue, youth bands, youth chorus, singing company, timbrel brigade, dance troupe, and/or drama troupe – and Westchester students won big.

White Plains
Level 3 Bass Guitar– 1st Place – Kenny Llanos
Level 4 Bass Guitar– 2nd Place – Santiago Murillo
Level 3 Snare Drum– 3rd Place – Gunnar Moen
Level 2 Piano Solo– 2nd Place – Abigail Moen
Level 3 Vocal Solo– 1st Place – Chiara Rosamilia
