KENSICO DAM PLAZA’S ANNUAL MUSIC FEST AND FIREWORKS SCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE ON JULY 3

Magnificent fireworks will gracefully light up the night sky and reveal the spectacular Kensico Dam in the background. 

Join us on the great lawn at Kensico Dam Plaza on Thursday, July 3 for an evening filled with music and fireworks to celebrate Independence Day at the annual Music Fest and Fireworks. Also this year, a family friendly Kids Zone at Clove Road Field including a DJ, kids inflatables and concessions.

Pre-concert entertainment begins at 5 p.m. with a guest DJ followed by a performance from the Naked Soul Band at 7 p.m.; fireworks will begin around 9 p.m. The Kids Zone at Clove Road Field will be open from 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “Westchester County is proud to celebrate Independence Day with a night filled with community spirit, live entertainment and fireworks. Break out your best red, white and blue attire, bring your chairs, blankets and patriotic pride for a night of fun.”

Westchester County Parks Commissioner Kathy O’Connor said: “Kensico Dam Plaza is the perfect setting for this Fourth of July tradition. With plenty of open space, beautiful scenery and great entertainment, it’s a wonderful place for family and friends to gather and celebrate under the stars.”

Admission and parking are free. Carpooling or taking mass transit is strongly suggested. Parking at the North White Plains or Valhalla train stations is recommended. Concert-goers should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating as well as a picnic supper. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

The annual Music Fest & Fireworks are presented by Westchester County Parks and sponsored by Westchester Parks Foundation with support from Bruni & Campisi, Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, Sharc Creative, The Peak, WHUD, Westchester Magazine, Inspiria Outdoor and Wonder.
