Westchester County Schools’ Food Distribution Plan

Westchester County has developed its food distribution plan in consultation with school districts, the Westchester Child Care Council and community-based organizations for children who already receive lunch at school.

· Bedford: Two schools will provide two days’ worth of meals to identified families of children who currently receive free and reduced-price breakfast and lunch; this will occur three days a week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

· Greenburgh – North Castle: Kenneth B. Clark Academy from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

· Hendrick Hudson: Hendrick Hudson High School cafeteria from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

· Lakeland: Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

· Mount Pleasant: Westlake Elementary School lobby from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

· Mount Vernon: 9 to 10:30 a.m. (Hamilton School, Graham School, Benjamin Turner Middle School, Traphagen School and Grimes School)

· New Rochelle: New Rochelle High School House IV parking lot, Trinity Elementary School and Columbus Elementary School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and 95 Lincoln (WESTCOP), 345 Main St. (New Rochelle Housing Authority) and New Rochelle City Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

· Ossining: Park Elementary School and/or Ossining High School between 10 a.m. and noon or 2 and 4 p.m.

· Peekskill: 9 a.m. to noon at Woodside Elementary School, Oakside Elementary School, Hillcrest Elementary School, Peekskill Middle School and Peekskill High School

· Pelham: Food will be prepared at the high school, and distributed at Siwanoy Elementary School and Hutchinson Elementary School between 8 and 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

· Port Chester: Food will be distributed at all four elementary schools from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

· Rye City: Breakfast and lunch will be available from 8 a.m. to noon at Rye High School

· Somers: Somers High School between 9:30 a.m. and noon

· Tarrytown: Sleepy Hollow Middle School from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

· Valhalla: from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Valhalla Middle/High School and Virginia Road Elementary

· White Plains will distribute breakfast and lunch to its students between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the White Plains High School Field House parking lot, the Church Street parking lot, Rochambeau High School lot and Post Road School lot

· Yonkers has provided 10 sites for “grab and go” breakfast and lunch from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Enrico Fermi School, 27 Poplar St.; Eugenio Maria de Hostos MicroSociety School, 75 Morris St.; Martin Luther King Jr. Academy, 135 Locust Hill Ave.; Roosevelt Early College Studies High School, 631 Tuckahoe Road; Scholastic Academy for Academic Excellence, 77 Park Hill Ave.; School 5, 118 Lockwood Ave.; School 13, 195 McLean Ave.; Thomas Cornell Academy, 15 St. Mary’s St.; Yonkers Montessori Academy, 160 Woodlawn Ave.; and Yonkers Middle/High School, 150 Rockland Ave.
