On Dec. 23, Westchester County government posted the following: “To help ease the COVID testing demand, Westchester County is distributing the home rapid COVID test kits from New York State. Several thousand testing kits were picked up today by Dobbs Ferry, Harrison, Mt. Kisco, Mt. Vernon, Ossining, Pelham, Pleasantville, Pound Ridge, Rye Brook, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, Tuckahoe, White Plains and Yorktown. The kits will be distributed by the local municipality to their residents for home use. In addition, the County has provided thousands of testing kits to Westchester community health centers, hospitals and first responders. The testing kits were offered to all municipalities in Westchester County. This post lists those communities who have responded as of this afternoon. We expect others will respond Friday morning.Contact your local government for details on their distribution plans.”

Westcheter County received the several thousand test kits from New York State.
