The stage is set for the 75th Annual Westchester County Cheerleading Invitational, at which cheerleaders from high schools and middle schools across the county will showcase their strength and spirit. The tournament will take place at the iconic Westchester County Center in White Plains on Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The snow date is Thursday, Feb. 6.

Teams will be judged on their jumps, tumbling, partner stunts, pyramids, basket tosses, choreography, timing, projection and the overall difficulty of their routines. Adding to the excitement, the Hofstra University cheerleading team will perform an exclusive demonstration before the awards ceremony on January 29.

Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “It’s electrifying to watch a tournament in which your classmates and friends are among the competitors. Seeing familiar faces showcase their talent adds a personal stake in their achievements and shared success.”
