The Zumba classes will be Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on June 10, 17 and 24; July 1, 15, 22 and 29; and Aug. 5, 12, 19 and 26. The class time changes to 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for Sept. classes, which will take place on Sept. 2, 9 and 16.

Thursday yoga classes from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on June 19 and 26; July 17, 24 and 31; and Aug. 7, 14, 21 and 28. Bring your own mat.

Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “We’re excited to bring two types of exercise classes to Kensico. Zumba is a fun and effective way to boost your cardiovascular health while burning countless calories, and yoga is a tranquil and soothing means to improve your flexibility, strength and balance.”

Westchester County Parks Commissioner Kathy O’Connor said: “The benefits of being outdoors are endless and participants can enjoy these instructional classes while increasing vitamin D intake, breathing fresh air and developing a deeper connection with nature.”

Kensico Dam Plaza is at the north end of the Bronx River Parkway in Valhalla.
