WABC Radio 770 -Frank Morano Interviews Joe Lieberman About No Labels -Third Party Presidential Campaign in 2024

WABC Radio 770 host Frank Morano recently interview former U.S. Senator and Vice-Presidential candidate Joe Lieberman about the work of No Labels. Lieberman, the co-chair of No Labels, is working to collect signatures in all 50 states to put a bi-partisan, third party ticket for President and Vice-President, before the American voter in 2024.

Morano is open to an independent Presidential candidate, and a third party. Lieberman is one of the most trusted former politicians. He ran with Al Gore for Vice President in 2000 and was considered as a vice-presidential candidate in 2008, to run on a bi-partisan ticket with Republican Senator John McCain.

“As independent, and a member of the fastest growing political party in America, which is in a way no party because people have really given up on the Republican and Democratic Party,” said Lieberman.

No Labels was founded in 2010 to try to combat the extremism on both parties, and work to elect centrist democrats and republicans to work together.

“Our members said maybe its time to take our fight into a Presidential election. The two parties have lost the confidence of the American people. ..They spend their time fighting each other instead of working together to fix the country,” said Lieberman.

No Labels has qualified to get on the ballot in 10 states and will be on the ballot in 20 states by the end of the year.

“If both parties nominate Trump against Biden next year, then we think we could have a third party that has a realistic chance to win. We have no illusions about the difficulty of this task. If we ran we would run to win,” said Lieberman

Addressing the claim that a No Labels third party ticket next year would take more votes against Biden than Trump, Lieberman disagrees, saying “We think we will draw votes equally from both parties. If Trump or Biden wins, it will be four more years of the same.”
