Mixing blues, swing, and a variety of other musical genre with their own original songs, Swingadelic, will bring an amazing evening of the big band sound to Yonkers.
Swingadelic began in 1998 when upright bassist Dave Post gathered his jazz & blues-playing friends, playing engagements at New York City’s Supper Club, Swing 46 and Windows On The World. As their popularity grew, they expanded to playing concerts and festivals.
Swingadelic has released seven CDs and has recorded for the ZOHO Music label since 2011. Swingadelic CDs have been in JazzWeek Radio charts Top 25, garnering critically acclaimed reviews in publications such as Jazz Times and All About Jazz.
The Untermyer Performing Arts Council is delighted to welcome Swingadelic back to Yonkers and to World Fest 2021!
