On April 18, Redline Roadhouse, a Bar-Restaurant in Cortlandt Manor, began a raffle, with the winner getting a “Trump Car” painted in Red White & Blue, all in support of our 47th President. Tickets for the raffle are a reasonable $20. And the cause is great.
“This car is being raffled off at the Redline Roadhouse, with 100% of the money going towards the long-term care of a young lady who was injured in a horrific car accident. As mentioned, 100% of the collected funds will be allocated towards her care. If you win, it’s yours to do with as you please.
“Raffle tickets are available for purchase at Redline. We welcome everyone to come in, buy a ticket, have a cold beer and enjoy a respectful conversation.”
Tickets sales have been good. “We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone for the overwhelming response we received today regarding the sale of raffle tickets. It is greatly appreciated,” posted Redline Roadhouse on Facebook, (www.facebook.com/redlineroadhouse).
The three Facebook posts about the Trump Car Raffle have resulted in over 1300 comments. And yes, given the hyper-partisanship nature of our politics, the comments were split, in favor and opposed to the idea.

That is the problem with this country….. Everyone puts their pride and political views in front of helping our community. If we all just stuck together and helped out… This would be a better country. Shame on everybody on here that has a negative comment. It’s not about you or your views it’s about helping someone.
Wanna burn it win it. Wanna drive it win it. Who cares. Just help a family!
Home town eatery taking care of home town lady. We should all agree no matter what the side of the isle you’re on , this is absolutely awesome in thought and caring. Whoever wins it do as you will but nobody should be trashing this fundraising job.
