THE WESTCHESTER STORY LAB- EMPOWERING FAMILIES TO CHANGE SYSTEMS

December 13-Yonkers Riverfront Library

This event is dedicated to empowering families impacted by the CPS and family court systems. It offers a supportive platform for families to share their experiences, understand their rights, and work toward constructive solutions for systemic improvement. With a focus on advocacy and community leadership, we aim to foster collaboration and increase awareness around the need for family-centered reform. A highlight of the event will be a Story Lab workshop led by Piper Anderson. In this workshop, local community leaders and family advocates will learn advocacy-building techniques to advance community well-being. The workshop is designed to equip attendees with practical skills to drive positive change and strengthen family integrity. Participants must pre-register for this event. This workshop also includes a phenomenal line up of panelists and speakers.

This event will be hosted by Westchester Justice for Families and sponsored by 914United and the Redlich Foundation. In attendance will be Piper Anderson the co-founder of the Rikers Public Memory Project, Tiffany Hamilton the CEO of YWCA of White Plains and many local Westchester Elected Officials.
