STEPINAC HIGH SCHOOL NAMES VALEDICTORIAN AND SALUTATORIAN FOR CLASS OF 2023

73rd Annual Commencement Exercises to be Held May 25

Stepinac High School has named seniors Ryan Fudale, from Thornwood as Valedictorian and Donal Connaughton, from Yonkers, as Salutatorian of the Class of 2023.

The honored students will deliver their addresses during Stepinac’s 73rd Annual Commencement Exercises to be held outdoors on the White Plains campus of the renowned all-boys Catholic high school, Thursday, May 25.

The academically top performing students were both members of the Susan and Daniel P. Mahoney Honors Academy, the groundbreaking, small three-year advanced learning program— among several of their notable academic, community service and athletic achievements. In keeping with Stepinac’s tradition of students being accepted by some of the nation’s top colleges and universities, Fudale will continue his studies at Boston College and Connaughton at University of Notre Dame.

Fudale and Connaughton and their classmates will receive their diplomas form Fr. Thomas Collins (Class of ’79, President. Parents and other family members and friends will be on hand to congratulate the graduates and wish them success in their post-secondary pursuits, following the path of Stepinac’s alumni who distinguished themselves at college and in their careers.
