State Police Charge Somers Man with Promoting Obscene Sexual Performance of a Child

Following a review of the evidence and consultation with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, Giannetta was arrested on November 26, 2025, and charged with the following:

• Two (2) counts of Promoting an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child Less Than 17 Years of Age, Class D felonies.

Giannetta was arraigned before the Somers Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to reappear in court on February 2, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.

Anyone with information about child exploitation or abuse is urged to contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 or submit a report online.
