Some Words from Eric Schoen

Wow, lots of white snowy stuff out there! I guess winter is finally here. Yonkersites know parking is a challenge. Taking the snow off the car before you drive is the law. You can’t block the routes of the snowplow. You have to be careful not to hurt your back when you are shoveling.

Try to keep warm and drink warm cocoa. It’s worth it to pay someone to shovel for you if you can. Make sure you have good quality boots or shoes. Take care of your animals if they go outside, and wipe the salt from their feet.

If you are young and healthy, check on your neighbors. Everyone, be careful and if you don’t feel good, go right to the hospital.

Especially, be careful when you go sleighriding, you have to go in a safe place. Unfortunately, I will not be riding my sled this year. Those who are, enjoy yourself, be careful.

I’m getting better every day. and love you and miss you. And I pray that you don’t have to dig out and can enjoy the beautiful white snow.

Thank you, public servants, for all your hard work. Eric
