Smash Music will officially open its doors at the former Sam Ash location, 176 Mamaroneck Avenue, on Saturday, September 6, with an all-day grand opening celebration.
Smash Music invites the public to explore its newly designed retail space. With convenient onsite parking, visitors can easily stop by and check out the latest gear, including a world-class school instrument rental fleet — just in time for back-to-school season. Smash Music is a part of the nationwide Sweetwater Band & Orchestra rental partnership program, which provides students access to the highest-quality rental fleet in the country at affordable rates.
Special deals and musical activities are planned throughout the day, from 9AM to 5PM. Highlights of the grand opening celebration at Smash Music include:
- Live music all day, featuring performances from renowned Grammy-nominated artist Gil
Parris. Parris will take the stage at 4PM. - A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the White Plains Business Improvement District at
12PM - A special appearance by White Plains’ mayor, Thomas Roach
