Robert Moffitt Elected Chairman of Yonkers Republican Party

New Yonkers Republican Party Chair Robert Moffitt

On September 7th, the Yonkers Republican City Committee had its biannual reorganization meeting, where Robert Moffitt was elected as Chairman of the Yonkers Republican Party. Robert Moffitt previously served as First Vice Chairman of the Yonkers Republican Party.

Chairman Robert Moffitt said “It is a huge honor to have been elected as Chairman of the Yonkers Republican City Committee. Thank you to everyone who has helped the Yonkers Republican Party grow in the last few years. The Yonkers GOP has a lot of work to do over the next two months.

“We must re-elect County Legislator James Nolan and Councilman Mike Breen. We need to ensure that Debbie Kozak, Jose Diaz, and Nick Speranza win their respective races. Most importantly, Yonkers will elect Anthony Merante as the next Mayor!

“I look forward to the next two years and have high hopes that the Yonkers GOP will thrive. Thank you to everyone who has decided to take this mission on with me.”

“I congratulate and welcome Devin O’Rourke, Nany Huran, and Alla Naber in their new positions of First Vice Chairman, Executive Director, and Sergeant-at-Arms respectfully. Congratulations to everyone else who was re-elected last night. They include Geri Esposito as Second Vice Chairwoman, Henry Sershen as Treasurer, Alberto Villate as Secretary, and Luke Sweeney as Assistant Secretary.

Chairman Robert Moffitt continued “I am committed to revitalizing our party to assure that your voice for good, common sense representation continues to be heard. The Yonkers Republican City Committee invites and welcomes you to join us in ensuring that our government works for all the people of Yonkers.”

Moffitt succeeds former City Councilman and Yonkers GOP Chair John Larkin.
