Crestwood Library April 12
With the warm weather and bright flowers comes Crestwood Historical Society’s first presentation of the year, and it’s a great one.
This coming Sunday, April 12, at 1 p.m., we proudly welcome the Hudson Valley’s master storyteller, Jonathan Kruk, to Crestwood Library. If you’ve seen one of Jonathan’s historical programs, then you know how captivating and illuminating he is—and those who haven’t caught him yet are in for a new treat!
As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, Jonathan will bring a local angle to Revolutionary Tales of Westchester and Beyond, including thieving “cowboys,” Washington’s activities in Westchester, Benedict Arnold’s betrayal, and the women, children, and enslaved people who fought for our freedom.
Please be sure to note that this is a special SUNDAY AFTERNOON program, and it’s in-person only. We’ll have refreshments at 12:30 p.m. and begin the storytelling at 1:00 p.m.
All through 2026, we’re joining our friends at Crestwood Library in celebrating the library’s momentous 100th anniversary. Please check out all their upcoming events!
We’re also pleased to announce that Houlihan & O’Malley Real Estate has generously underwritten our 2026 speakers.
