The town hall will be moderated by Pascale Jean-Gilles, Deputy Mayor of Nyack and Chief of Staff to New York Assemblymember Mary Jane Shimsky, a young leader focused on empowering new generations in local and national politics.

The event will take place on Monday, October 20, 2025 — 7:00 PM

at Christ Episcopal San Marcos Church, 43 South Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 10591

New York’s 17th Congressional District is expected to be one of the most hotly contested races in 2026. Organizers see the town hall as a proving ground for Gen Z and Millennial voters’ ability to shift suburban battlegrounds—and as a major effort to mobilize young voters, generate local enthusiasm, and highlight the issues shaping the next generation of political leadership.
