Philpse Manor Hall Offers A Day-Long Slate of Halloween Activities

Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site (29 Warburton Ave. Yonkers, NY) is proud to present a slate of Halloween day activities on Saturday, October 31, 2026, including a walking tour, family film series, crafts, and more.

At 10:30 a.m. join us for our “Yonkers Fall Waterfront Walking Tour,” where we will enjoy fall foliage and learn about important sites as we stroll alongside the Hudson. This tour will feature the daylighted Saw Mill River, Yonkers Train Station, Yonkers Recreation Pier, the Enslaved African Rain Garden, and more, covering the city’s history from its early Indigenous origins to the present, with emphasis on the 18th and 19th centuries. If you’ve ever wondered how and why Yonkers developed, and what the downtown used to look like, this is the tour for you! Tickets are $3 for seniors and students, $6 for adults, and include museum admission. To register call 914-965-4027 or email philipsemanorhall@parks.ny.gov.

From 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., “Family Halloween Day” will explore the Hudson Valley’s spooky legendary roots with a special Legend of Sleepy Hollow movie marathon, featuring our favorite family-friendly versions of Washington Irving’s classic tale. Enjoy spooky crafts and activities while you watch. Come in costume and trick-or-treat at the front desk! Crafts and movies are free and open to everyone, no registration required. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
