Party with the Police and Doc Gooden for a Good Cause

The Nick Loeb Foundation’s 2nd annual BBQ and Pool party to support our local police officers and their families is set to take place on August 26th, 2023, at the Loeb home in Purchase NY. This year, the Foundation will be opening the event to donors in order to help supplement the cost of college and expenses for the children of our local police families (initially, Purchase, Harrison, and White Plains and expected to widen next year). This is a great opportunity for the communities to come out to help and mix with their local police families.

These responders who are typically the first help on scene, often don’t have the financial resources to send their older children to the colleges of their choice, and many don’t qualify for financial aid.

“We believe every child should have the opportunity to go to any school they want,” said Executive Director Ilaria Damiano, “The Foundation will focus its contributions to those who are local and take care of us specifically supporting kids that adhere to the Foundation’s values.”

The Foundation will be building a committee of local police officers, their families, school teachers, and community leaders to select the students. If a parent is on the committee, they will have to recuse themselves if it is for their child.

NY Mets star pitching ace, Dwight Gooden, will be on hand at the festivities for a bit of baseball fun with the guests. Other special guests include the Chief of Police of White Plains, and Igor Gracie of the famed Gracie Jiu Jitsu family who will be doing a clinic for kids.

Tickets start at $250 with VIP Tickets at $350 (which includes baseball with Doc Gooden). Sponsorships are $2,500, $5,000, $10,000 & $25,000 and include Regular & VIP tickets, Batting Practice, Autographed Baseballs, Photos with Dwight Gooden, Dinners with local Police Chiefs, golf outings with Nick Loeb and local Police, tours of the White Plains Police Headquarters, and many additional opportunities. For all guests, there will be a 50-foot water slide, mechanical bull, face painting, trampoline park, BBQ, Ice Cream, Pizza, a masseuse, a manicurist, JiuJitsu with the Gracie’s, Games including Dunk the Police Chief, and much much more
