To celebrate the 250th birthday of our nation declaring independence from Great Britain, Yonkers’s own Library Jazz Band will share a healthy dose of classic big band arrangements, classic jazz, classic R&B, classic pop music, and other sonic treats to take you back to that other great birthday, the year 1976! Saturday, July 18, 6:30 p.m. at Untermyer Park, 945 N. Broadway, Yonkers. Note: In case of bad weather, the program will be moved to Saunders High School, 183 Palmer Road, Yonkers.
