Last week, the Yonkers Police Athletic League held its first Easter Festival at the Walshin Center on North Broadway, which was a big hit – drawing well over 200 children and their parents. The petting zoo was a major draw, followed by Joe The Magician, who performed a full magic show to the delight of the crowd.
There was an arts and crafts table, bouncy castles, video games, hot dogs, popcorn and goody bags to go. All this despite the rain… or maybe because of it!
“Overall, it was a wonderful day of fun at the PAL for all who attended,” said Melvina Lathan of the PAL.
And what Easter Festival could be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny? A special shout-out to Davey Villar for making that happen!
