Theresa Ann Olson, affectionately known as “Terri,” gracefully departed from this world on December 9, 2023, at the vibrant age of 80 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Born on July 29, 1943, in Yonkers, New York, she lived a life filled with laughter and love.
Terri dedicated 37 years of her life to the Edenwald Center in Pleasantville, New York, where she eventually earned the title of Director. Her career was truly a work of art.
Survived by her daughter and best friend, Kelly Chiarella, her son, Keith Olson, and her partner, Marie Fontes, Terri leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished forever. Her grandchildren, Tyler Olson, AJ Chiarella, Sean Olson, Nicky Chiarella and her daughter in law Liza will fondly remember her as the queen of fun and mischief. Her love, support and dedication to her grandsons was boundless.
In this grand performance called life, Terri was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Olson, and her six brothers and sisters. They’ve now reunited in the ultimate afterparty.
To celebrate Terri’s unforgettable journey, the family will be hosting intimate “Celebration of Life” parties that promise to be as lively as she was. Stay tuned for details on these joyous gatherings, where memories will be shared, laughter will be abundant, and tears will be replaced with smiles.
