NY Working Families Party Announces 2025 Endorsements

Lesnick for Yonkers City Council President; Pineda-Isaac for City Council District 2; Jennifer Puja-Westchester BOL District 5

Today, the New York Working Families Party announced the endorsements for candidates in the Hudson Valley, including Westchester, Putnam, Orange, Ulster and Dutchess counties.

Candidates who apply for the Working Families Party endorsement complete a robust questionnaire and interview process. At a time when local elected officials are on the frontline of protecting our communities and democracy, NYWFP is investing deeply in these races to ensure New Yorkers have trusted leaders who fight for working families.

“The New York Working Families Party is proud to endorse a slate of champions throughout the Hudson Valley who will fight for working families. We are excited to work alongside this diverse group of leaders who will deliver bold, progressive change throughout the Hudson Valley,” said Ana María Archila and Jasmine Gripper, Co-Directors, New York Working Families Party.

These endorsements add to the Working Families Party’s first round of endorsements for Ulster and Dutchess counties announced last week. The Working Families Party will continue screening additional candidates and will announce further endorsements in the upcoming weeks. Current endorsed candidates in the Hudson Valley include:
