Congratulations to news 12 reporter Tara Rosenblum for getting an exclusive interview with Bill Stephenson, ex-husband of first lady Joe Biden. Stephenson reveals in the interview that he had an affair with Kathie Durst. Durst, was married to the infamous Robert Durst when she disappeared from her Northern Westchester home in 1982.
Stephenson believes, like many others, that Robert Durst killed his wife Kathie. But perhaps the greatest take away from the interview is that Stephenson, while married to Jill Biden, spent a three-day weekend with Kathie and Robert Durst in 1974. While the couples retreat occurred eight years before the disappearance/murder, it is both notable, interesting and creepy that the first lady of the United States spent a long weekend with one of the most disturbing individuals of our time.

Bill Stevenson, was married to the first lady from 1970 to 1975. During the interview, Stevenson expresses remorse at the disappearance and murder of his former lover, saying that he believes the affair between the two “absolutely” had something to do with Durst “flying off the deep end” and allegedly killing his wife.
