New Rochelle Police Nab Pizza Graffiti Vandal

The New Rochelle Police Department has successfully concluded an investigation into a series of graffiti incidents that have plagued the city and surrounding areas for over a year. The suspect, identified as Daniel Henderson, 42 years of age, of Yonkers, NY, was arrested on December 27th, 2024, in connection with the “One Slice Please” graffiti movement.

Detectives from New Rochelle PD were assigned to investigate a serial graffiti artist who had been vandalizing various locations throughout the city. The suspect had tagged approximately 13 sites with either a slice of pizza or the slogan “1sliceplease.com.” Through extensive investigation and gathering of leads, detectives were able to identify Daniel Henderson as the primary suspect. On December 27th, 2024, detectives arrested Henderson for the acts of vandalism. The arrest marks the culmination of a year-long investigation into the “One Slice Please” movement, which had gained significant traction on social media and attracted attention from local media outlets and influencers in Westchester County.

Daniel Henderson has been charged with three counts of Making Graffiti (PL 145.60). Additional charges are pending as the investigation continues. The New Rochelle Police Department is actively coordinating with 14 other jurisdictions that have been affected by the “One Slice Please” pizza-themed graffiti.
