An Empowering Guide to Building Resilience and Navigating Life’s Challenges
U.S. Marine Corps veteran Aaron B. Kershaw recently released Bounce Back: Resilience for Life’s Curveballs, the third installment in his series of practical guides focused on helping readers build resilience and navigate life’s challenges.
Initially, Kershaw was encouraged to write a memoir about his experiences, but he soon realized that the lessons and knowledge he gained were more valuable to share than focusing solely on his personal journey. This insight led him to create a series that imparts practical strategies for resilience and growth, making his story a vehicle for universal life lessons.
At age 45, Kershaw faced a significant career shift when physical injuries stemming from his medical discharge in 1992 became overwhelming, compounded by the challenges of managing undiagnosed PTS. Drawing from his own journey, Bounce Back reveals the practices and techniques that Kershaw used to overcome these obstacles, including mindfulness practices, emotional growth strategies, and methods for navigating adversity.
A Legacy of Community Engagement
A New Rochelle High School Graduate recently relocating to Dutchess County, Kershaw has been an integral part of the Westchester community. He is an active member of The Business Council of Westchester and has worked as a media producer for over 20 years, including serving as a videographer/photographer for Habitat for Humanity and the Village of Elmsford for more than a decade. Kershaw is also known for producing and hosting On The Inside on WVOX for eight years, where he connected with the community and provided a platform for open dialogue.
