Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace announced that Hugo Horacio Perez-Gabriel, 32, of New Rochelle, was indicted on multiple charges in connection with the sexual abuse of a New Rochelle boy.

He was arraigned on the charges on July 8 before Judge Robert Prisco, where he pleaded not guilty. Judge Prisco ordered him remanded pending further proceedings.

DA Cacace said: “Any abuse of children, not to mention repeated sexual abuse, is especially grotesque. My administration is committed to holding abusers accountable, and this new indictment represents that unwavering commitment. The children of Westchester are our legacy, and we must do everything in our power to ensure their safety.”

The investigation is being conducted by the New Rochelle Police Department.

The case is being prosecuted by Senior Assistant District Attorney Charlotte Gudis and Bureau Chief Christine Hatfield, both of the Special Prosecutions Division.
