Memorial Run Set in Memory of Xavier Flores

The Stepinac Lady Crusaders and Archbishop Stepinac High School proudly announce the Xavier E. Flores Memorial Run, Sunday, September 27-Sunday, October 4, 2020. This exciting virtual event is proudly named in memory of Xavier E. Flores, Stepinac Class of 1988, and father of Stepinac Class of 2020 graduate, Xavier M. Flores. On April 27, 2020, Xavier E. Flores tragically lost his life to COVID-19.

Cortlandt Manor resident, Xavier E. Flores, was actively involved in the Stepinac community as the Co-Presi-dent of the Crusader Men’s Club. He was dedicated to making an impact on the students of Stepinac by helping to raise funds for the school he loved. Xavier’s legacy of selfless giving to his community is reflected in this year’s event, as all funds raised will go to support the Stepinac COVID-19 safety initiatives.

“Although we may be running in different towns, cities or states, we are united as a community for a common goal — to continue Xavier’s legacy. We are all in this together,” Lisa Henderson, event chairperson.
