MAYOR SPANO INVITES YONKERS COUPLES CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OR MORE OF MARRIAGE IN 2026 TO A VALENTINE’S DAY VOW RENEWAL CEREMONY

Mayor Mike Spano today announced a call to Yonkers couples celebrating 50 years or more of marriage in 2026 to participate in a special vow renewal ceremony on Tuesday, February 10 at 1 p.m. at Yonkers City Hall in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

“As Mayor, I look forward to recognizing and celebrating the enduring love and commitment of our residents. It is truly a privilege to honor these couples who have shared 50+ years of life together, facing both joys and challenges with unwavering support and love,” said Mayor Mike Spano. “Their dedication to one another is an inspiration to us all, and it will be an honor to celebrate their milestones with them.”

Following the ceremony, there will be a reception with light refreshments, and each couple will receive a commemorative certificate to mark the occasion.

Yonkers residents who wish to participate in the ceremony are encouraged to register by Monday, February 2, by contacting Dr. Dwanita Crosby at (914) 377-6084 or dwanita.crosby@yonkersny.gov. Proof of marriage will be required.
