Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins, Dept. of Labor and Dept. of Civil Service To Host Job Fair on May 2 at Yonkers Riverfront Library 11am-3pm

New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and New York State Department of Labor Commissioner Roberta Reardon are joining forces with New York State Department of Civil Service Commissioner Timothy R. Hogues to host a Civil Service Job Fair on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Yonkers Riverfront Library.

The Job Fair is an excellent opportunity for those looking for work or exploring a new career in one of the many civil service disciplines. The fair will feature representatives from the NYS Department of Labor, NYPD Recruitment Section, NYS OPWDD Hudson Valley DDSO, NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, Federal Air Marshal Service, Internal Revenue Service, NYS Department of Financial Services, New York State Thruway Authority, ACCES VR, NYS Department of Civil Service, New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, NYS Office of Children and Family Services, and more.

So far, more than 600 individuals have signed up to attend the fair. Those wishing to do so can still sign up here
