June 2 for Republican candidates and June 5 for Democrats
The League of Women Voters of the Rivertowns announces a candidate forum for Yonkers City Council President in the Republican primary election.
The forum will be a Zoom webinar on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 7 to 8 p.m. The
forum can be viewed live by pre-registration at https://bit.ly/YonkersrepubprimCCPres.
Candidates for the office are Dean Politopoulos and Ron Schutté. The primary election will be on June 24, 2025.
Questions must be submitted ahead of time either at registration or by email to info@lwv-rivertowns.org. The deadline for submission of questions is Saturday, May 31, at 9 a.m. Questions will be reviewed by a committee of League members who will submit them to the moderator prior to the start of the forum.
The event will be recorded and made available following the forum on the Rivertowns League YouTube Channel, LWV Rivertowns, and website www.lwv-rivertowns.org.
