Luther V. Garrison Sr. Masonic Foundation Inc. Hosts Black History & Awards Celebration Breakfast

The Luther V. Garrison Sr. Masonic Foundation Inc. (LVGSMF) Scholarship Committee will host a Black History & Awards Celebration Breakfast on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Runyon Heights Community Center, located at 21 Runyon Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10710.

This special celebration will honor Past Master Russell Boston with the Russell Boston Leadership Award. The award recognizes his exemplary service, unwavering dedication, and outstanding leadership. PM Boston has served with distinction as a Masonic EducatorJames H. Farrell Lodge #34 Historian, and a committed member of the Luther V. Garrison Sr. Masonic Foundation Inc. Scholarship Committee.

The breakfast will also feature a powerful and engaging Black History program, including:

  • PM Richard Crews – Yonkers African American Heritage Committee
  • Past Worthy Matron Maria George – Spoken Word Black History
  • Subomi Macauloy – African History Storyteller
  • Past Master Delvin Hodges – Black History Message
  • King Lagee – Black History Musical Presentation

The event is free and open to the public. There is no charge to attend, though donations will be accepted to support the LVGSMF Scholarship Committee and its mission.
