
From the Village of Dobbs Ferry Police Department:
On June 19, 2026 at approximately 4:25am the Dobbs Ferry Police Department responded to the Hudson Social Restaurant for a reported commercial burglary which has just occurred. Upon officers’ arrival at the location it was confirmed that a burglary had occurred and items were missing from within the establishment including an unknown amount of United States Currency.
While Officers were gathering information at the crime location, a civilian did call the DFPD reporting that they believed they were driving behind the suspect vehicle. Upon receipt of this information, officers were dispatched to the location of the caller who was maintaining phone contact with the police department, continually updating their location which was being relayed to responding officers. A traffic stop upon the vehicle was conducted by a Dobbs Ferry Police Officer within the Village of Ardsley.
After a brief investigation it was determined that the male occupant of the vehicle was the suspect who committed this crime and was placed under arrest. The male is charged with Burglary 3rd degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd degree, Grand Larceny 3rd degree, and Possession
of Burglar’s Tools.
At this time, there is no known threat to the community. The Dobbs Ferry Police Department is actively investigating this incident and requests that anyone who may have witnessed this incident contact Police Headquarters at 914-693-5500.
