Investigation Leads to Arrest in Somers Child Sexual Abuse Case

On October 29, 2025, the New York State Police, Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Somers (BCI), together with uniform members, arrested Gary Angel Correa Reyes, 45, of Bronx, NY, for Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the First Degree, a Class B felony.

On September 22, 2025, Investigators received information regarding a past sexual assault involving a child. Subsequent investigation determined that Correa Reyes engaged in sexual conduct with a victim under the age of thirteen over the course of several years while at a private residence in the town of Somers.

Correa Reyes was arraigned in the Town of Bedford Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail, $200,000 bond, or $400,000 partially secured bond. He is scheduled to appear before the Somers Town Court on November 3, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.
