Olympic medalist and hometown hero Kate Douglass will visit The Picture House Pelham on Tuesday, November 19th, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, for an exciting evening celebrating her remarkable swimming achievements in the Paris Olympics 2024. Fans and community members are invited to join in as Douglass relives her most thrilling Olympic moments, followed by an engaging conversation, a signing session, and special giveaways. Tickets are FREE but reservations are required.
This exclusive visit comes after The Picture House hosted standing-room-only viewing parties in July and August, where the Pelham community gathered to cheer on their local legend as she competed on the Olympic stage. The energy and enthusiasm from these events highlighted the community’s deep support for Douglass, making this upcoming event a heartfelt reunion. “Following our amazing viewing parties during her Olympic run, we are thrilled to welcome Kate to The Picture House and reunite her fans and supporters once again,” said Clayton Bushong, Executive Director of The Picture House Regional Film Center.
