Here Comes the RAIN Again!

By Eric Wolf Schoen

I guess Annie Lennox, Dave Stewart and the Eurythmics got it right this summer. Heavens it hasn’t stopped raining out there with a possible break in the storms this weekend. What do we do when the meteorologists put that threat of rain in the forecast. Carry a raincoat ?

No. WITH  temps in the morning. at. 79 degree’s reaching 90’s carrying a raincoat as the day goes by can be an awesome task. Try to find a light rain jacket that is easier to carry.

I see it every year and it happens to one of my friends. Just like you should not take cover under a tree in the rain, if you store your bathing suit in mothballs caretully. Wash it before you put it on. If you don’t, you will have the possibility of burning your skin. wash the suit well before you put it away for the winter. Right now is the way perfect time for ladies and gentlemen and children to pick up suits for next tear at a discount.

Water safety should be practiced every time you go swimming. Look at what happened to Stew Leonard’s child. Before you go swimming go over the video Stew Leonard has on the company website about fave swimming practices.  Parents make sure to stay with your swimmers as much as you can. We want eveyone to be safe all the time but particularly as summer comes to close.

If you are out gardening use an unscented soap. Scented soaps tends to attract bugs, the last thing you need is a bug night while enjoying the beautiful weather.

Moiturize your skin often and make sure drink plenty of liquids.  The sun takes the moisture out of your body and can be very dangerous.

Don’t use cell phones or any electrical device in the water. That includes iPads. You can get seriously hurt using any device either plugged in or with a battery in it.

Don’t skimp on suncreen at the pool. You want to use a good brand, check to make it’s fresh.   ,

Don’t use sunscreen from the dollar tree. Cover all exposed parts of the body.

Eat half an hour to an hour before and after swimming.

Follow these tips for a wonderful outdoor experience!
