Members of the Yonkers Police and Fire Departments gathered at the Grassy Sprain Pharmacy to say thank you to owners Daniel Molino and Anthony Ciarletta for donating over a thousand bottles of hand sanitizer for Yonkers Bravest & Finest.
“We are very proud to help support our First Responders by donating over 1,000 bottles of hand santizer !! Thank you to The Yonkers Police Dept & Yonkers FireFighters for keeping us all safe,” said Ciarletta.
Mayor Mike Spano also thanked Michael Mosiello, Director of the Office of Emergency Management for coordinating this effort. “The tremendous outpouring of support from residents and local businesses is another example of how we are #YonkersStrong,” said Spano.
Grassy Sprain Pharmacy recently celebrated its 70th anniversary, first opening in 1949. They are located at 640 Tuckahoe Road and are one of thge few businesses that are open in Yonkers during the pandemic.
