Get Spooked for a Good Cause

Be careful…but enjoy the Dobbs Ferry Haunted House

The Dobbs Ferry Woman’s Club and the Dobbs Ferry Parent-Teacher-Student Association invite the public to attend its annual Dobbs Ferry Haunted House event at the Dobbs Ferry Woman’s Club, 54 Clinton Ave., on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Admission is $5, or $3 for children age 9 and younger. Children 4 and under are admitted free.

The admission fee includes participation in ghost stories acted out in some of the rooms of the mansion, and an activity room for children. The event is held indoors, rain or shine. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Dobbs Ferry PTSA and the Woman’s Club Philanthropic Fund.

The Dobbs Ferry Woman’s Club Haunted House event provides good, old-fashioned fun for all ages in an ideal setting for Halloween. Each year a new ghost story is crafted and acted out for the event, which takes place in a house already reputed to be haunted by at least three ghosts.
