Freedom Chapel’s Grand Opening Sunday, June 8th in Jefferson Valley

Lives Transformed in Westchester-Many Accept Christ Ahead of Opening

At a time when many are searching for connection and hope, a powerful movement is happening in northern Westchester. It’s called Freedom Chapel and it’s not your average church experience. This is raw worship and transformational teaching. And it’s clear this community wants something life-altering on Sunday mornings.

Launching its grand opening on Sunday, June 8th at Jefferson on the Lake, 489 E. Main St., Jefferson Valley, with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:00pm, Freedom Chapel invites the community into something deeper.  Services begin at 10am and include inspiring worship, a powerful message, and a community where longtime believers, the newly searching, and the quietly curious can all find true freedom in Christ.

“Freedom Chapel is not just a church, it’s a movement” says Pastor Julio Vazquez. “Here, people can create a deeply personal relationship with God and embrace the freedom, healing, and belonging they’re yearning for.”

What Makes Freedom Chapel Different

·         Worship Without Walls: Services are and presence-filled—chains break, hearts heal, and freedom flows. Here, you’re free to praise, pray, cry out, and encounter God without limits.

·         Freedom Starts with Truth: We don’t shy away from the hard truths. Through biblical teachings and real conversations, we confront life’s struggles with grace, power, and redemptive truth that sets us free.

·         Discipleship with Purpose: We don’t just lead people to Christ—we raise up disciples. Every person is equipped to grow, empowered to lead, and unleashed to serve in their God-given calling.

·         Mission that Moves: This church doesn’t sit still – whether it’s our neighbor next door or a nation across the sea, we go with bold love to serve, restore, and share Jesus.

·         Many Ministries: From Freedom Kids to Daughters of Freedom, and Kingsmen Ministry to global missions, we’re activating all generations to know Jesus deeply—and make Him known boldly.

Community Impact Rooted in the Great Commission

Freedom Chapel takes Jesus’ words in Matthew 28:19–20 seriously: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you… ““This is not a suggestion—it’s our mission,” says Pastor Julio, “We’re building more than a church—what God is doing here is eternal.”

Since its first service in March, Freedom Chapel has already put faith into action fulfilling the Great Commission by serving the Westchester and Putnam communities in life-changing ways:

·         Honoring Local Heroes: In April, Freedom Chapel hosted a special outreach at the Mahopac VFW, serving over 50 veterans with a warm meal to honor their sacrifice and remind them they’re not forgotten.

·         Partnering with Christian Education: As a proud gold sponsor of the Hudson Valley Christian Academy 2025 Golf Tournament, Freedom Chapel is sowing into our next generation of faith-filled leaders, ensuring students receive a Christ-centered education.

·         Standing with the Vulnerable: Plans are underway for a community blood drive to be hosted right in the church parking lot to give life to neighbors in medical crisis.

·         Serving the Elderly: With homemade blankets, heartfelt prayer and worship, our monthly visits to the residents of Holy Comforter Nursing Home remind them they are seen, valued, and held in our hearts.

·         Fighting Hunger in Westchester: Freedom Chapel is taking aim at food insecurity—actively exploring partnerships that will provide nourishment to families in need in the area.

·         Showing Up Where It Counts: Whether it’s helping families move, delivering meals to the sick, or standing in prayer with the brokenhearted—Freedom Chapel believes in serving others.

A Shepherd with a Vision

Stirred by a prophetic word — “do what you have been called to do”— Pastor Julio Vazquez founded Freedom Chapel by answering with unwavering obedience. His vision is both simple and profound: to see everyone who enters these doors encounter the love and transformative power of God, igniting a journey that forever changes their story.

Experience It for Yourself

Whether you’re looking for a church home or a new encounter with God, Freedom Chapel is where revival feels personal, where worship is alive, and freedom is more than a name—it’s a way of life.
